But Im not the Criminal!!!

Seriously, there are some people in our world who get offended when ask for I.D when using credit cards? Yeah you read that right. I just read the newspaper and for some strange reason i decided to read Miss. Manners. The writer was stating how they get offended when asked for I.D when they use their credit cards. No matter how much they argue with the clerk and then of course the manager, they can seem to make them understand how offensive that is to them. Then of course they get the "Its for your protection" line from the management. The question was how to make people understand without being "arrogant" that it is offensive to them?

OK, first if I was that clerk, Id assume this person was using a stolen credit card because they just wouldn't give me a darned I.D. I mean seriously what is SO offensive about checking the I.D. How do I know the "owner" didn't accidentally drop it somewhere or was pick pocketed or something. I DON'T KNOW!

Its not a question about your integrity, but wouldn't you rather the clerk make sure that if this was someone else using YOUR CARD, they'd check to make sure it was you using your own card. Honestly, if they didn't and someone charged up a slew amount of money on your card, you'd go PLUM MAD!!!! I know Id call the store first to give them a few words then Id be frantic with the credit card company making sure I don't have to be stuck with the bill.

So PERSON who wrote to Miss. Manners, go ahead and leave your credit card near by. I mean I don't go and take other people things, I have integrity, but its obvious that you don't care if others use your credit card...sounds to me like you don't mind SPREADING THE WEALTH...even if you don't know who the heck is using your card.

Its that time of year again!!!!

NO....NOT THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING...although that is here too but I meant FLU SEASON!!! You know the sickness...the snotty noses, the coughs, the puke and so forth...the YUCKINESS!!! Yes, it has hit my house already!

Photobucket

Yes this is us at our house...SICK AS DOGS!!! Jesykah was the first to bring it home. She was out for nearly a week from school, man she was horrible. She ended up on a neubalizer and some steroids for her breathing. I mean she had bronchiolitis and croup. She was in her room most of the day, with the Vicks vaporizor on . I mean this house was a sauna! So she got better and then the following week, or this past monday...ERYKAH GETS SICK! yup...and Monikah. She got send home with a fever, Erykah woke up with a fever and they have been home since. Monikah is doing much better but EJ is not doing so well. Damn fever will not let up, shes just cant get over it. However, tomorrow we will finally see a doc.

Then there is me! Yes, I have it too and my stomach just said "DOES IT HURT DOES IT HURT...HUH DOES IT HURT??!!!" and I was like "HELL YEAH IT HURTS!!" So I am down for the count. Its not just my tummy though...I feel it all over but I think this bug couldnt get to all of me cause I just feel tired and achey. So this is a sick house...I cant stand it, Ive already missed over a weeks worth of work! I can afford to anymore...I need to work. I guess thats the price of being a mom, and its well worth it...I get to spend some quite time with my girls, all chilling out, even though we are all coughing and feeling like crap we get to just lounge around and watch movies, with our vick vaporizor next to us.

A Movie to Watch: August Evening

august evening

The first time I heard about this movie was when my parents were asking me to find out where it was showing. They were all excited about it and I didnt know why. I will tell you why in a bit. However their excitement peeked my curiosity for this movie. This is an independent film and I'm sure you will not hear about it. It might not come to your town. This film is a Doki-Doki production film and was written and directed by Chris Eska.

Now I normally do not watch independent films. The last one I watched was a good one too, "Turtles Can Fly" was the last one I watched. However because my parents were so excited I thought "HEY, why not?"

IMG_9612

( L-R Abel Becerra "Victor" , Veronica Loren "Lupe" , Pedro Castenada "Jaime" )

Ok so this film is in Spanish BUT dont fret, it has English sub-titles. The film is based on a small Mexican family. This family is of a husband and wife, played by Pedro Castenada and Raquel Gavia, and their widowed daughter-in-law, played by Veronica Loren. This daughter in law is more of a daughter to this couple and she takes care of them. However their life is turned upside down with Maria's sudden death (Raquel Gavia) and then Jaime ( Pedro Castenada) looses his job because of his age. These are undocumented immigrants and you see the struggle that they have to endure . The couples real children seem to have distanced themselves and Lupe (Veronica Loren) is more of a real daughter to him that his own daughter and son. Now that Maria is gone Lupe feels she cant not leave her father in law. She feels the need to care for him as if he was her own father. However, she finds herself, almost unwillingly, falling in love and is torn between her new love and her loyalty to her late husbands father. This is truly a great movie. It being a low budget film, it had a big movie feel. It was well thought out and well put together. You have a family that has forgotten how to be a family find their way back to their father and a woman, who learns that there is more space in her heart to love everyone including what was in the past. Dont let the fact of it being a Spanish movie scare you into not watching it. You will surely miss out on a good movie. Im not one to say a movie is good when its not. I will tell you "DONT WATCH THAT MOVIE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY" but when I find a good movie, I will tell you "YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THIS!" I mean, my two oldest daughters loved it. The do not understand a LICK of Spanish but they were on the edge of their seats waiting to see what was going to happen next. They understood it...these are little girls ages 11 and 9. They got the plot, they got the story and they LOVED IT!

After the movie, were were graciously greeted by the actors who played the main characters in this movie. We had a Q&A and when we went to the lobby we got to take pics with them. So why were my parents excited. Well the truth is, Pedro Castenada who plays Jaime in the movie, well he's my dads first cousin. So the main character in this movie is my cousin. This is NOT the reason Im raving about this movie, it is truly a good movie. And you should go watch it. Tell your friends and if and when you do, come back here and let me know what you thought of it.

What for...I don't count...so why bother???

I'm sure some of you have said to yourself this, during election week. Ok so this is more for my women readers than my male readers. Men you have had the privilege of voting since the U.S. inception. Women have only had that right since 1920. Most of us still have grandparents who were alive during those years when their opinions were probably laughed at by men. So women, what's the deal? Those of you who wont go and vote...why wont you? You don't have time? You have your kids with you? I have other things to do? Well I didn't know this little tid bit of history and now I'm telling this story to you. I read this just a little while ago on cafemom.com.

"This is the story of our Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers, as they lived only 90 yrs ago. Remember, it was not until 1920 that women were granted the right to go to the polls and vote. The women were innocent and defenseless, but they were jailed nonetheless for picketing the White House, carrying signs asking for the vote. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive.

Forty prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of 'obstructing sidewalk traffic'. They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashing her head against an iron bed and knocking her out cold. Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thinking Lewis was dead, suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women. Thus unfolded the 'Night of Terror' on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right to vote. For weeks, the women's only water came from on open pail. Their food -- all of it colorless slop -- was infested with worms. When of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her ot a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks, until word was smuggled out to the press.

So refresh my memory. Some women won't vote this year because -- why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to work? Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining?

It is jarring to [know] Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institionalized. And it is inspiring to [know ] the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy. The doctor admonished the men: 'Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity.' ..... History is being made"

So what is your excuse again? Dont have time??? MAKE IT!, Have kids? TAKE THEM WITH YOU OR FIND A BABYSITTER FOR AN HOUR! The point is women, ladies...MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT!!! It DOES count!!! Do it for the women in the story. I mean make a conscious decision, I DONT GIVE A DAMN WHO YOU VOTE FOR JUST FREAKING VOTE! I hope I see you at the polls.

Is it election year???

It must be...hahaha.  Last night Marty, the girls and I were going to Wal-Mart for some grocery shopping.  Now, a couple of months ago, we traded up for a bigger car than our little Mini-Van.  I mean, I loved my van, but it was getting older, the girls are getting bigger, therefore the van was amazingly getting SMALLER!!!  So we went for the big gun of trucks...A SURBURBAN!!!!  I mean we got the looks, we got the comments, we got it all..the "WHY A SURBURBAN...GAS PRICES ARE HIGH, YOU WILL BE SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY!"  We knew that, but our sanity is more important and worth more than worrying about what or how much the gas price is at that moment.  Crazy, yeah, but sometimes, you have to sort out your priorities and well you know...I love my kids...I want to keep them...hehehe..I dont want to send them of to military school, or a convent so I can keep my sanity, well Marty and I's sanity, but mostly mine.  I mean I am the one who is with them more often than not!

So..back to the subject at hand. So we were driving last night for our hunting excursion...FOOD!  As we drive down the road, we see the "GAS PRICE WARS!!!"  on the left side of the street gas prices were, not sure if they are still, at 2.65-2.69, on the right side of the road all you see is the same price through out...2.35!  We noticed this.  I mean, we are penny savvy, sort to speak, we have four girls and we have to make every penny stretch.  Then we are wondering why on earth are people fueling up at the most expensive gas station when just across the street the price is almost if not over .30 cents CHEAPER!  I mean it might not be much to most but hey for a tank that holds about 20 gallons or more...IT ADDS UP!  Then we realized that we haven't seen gas prices this low in over 3 years. Heck when we got out of the military gas prices were already going to hit 2.50 and at that time, WHOA...the scandal...the price is to much.  Now we look at the 2.35 price and we think...HEY THATS CHEAP!!  OmG...I mean oil companies are playing with our brains.  Now I sound like my PARENTS..."Ohh girls I remember! when gas was .50, .75, .80 a gallon!!!"  YIKES...SOME ONE SLAP ME!  Well so Yeah..its election year.  Both parties will try to take credit as to why the prices are now low.  Both parties will say that it was them, their influence to have gas prices go down.  Just remember...it will not stay like this, Im sure of it.  New prez comes in...and it will all go up again. Well maybe with this economy ... we might not have money to drive our cars anymore.  I tell ya...leave GOD out of it take him out of everything...IT ALL GOES TO CRAP!

Mystery Diagnosis????

Im a little bummed out right now! More worried actually. Never has my oldest daughter had such a health problem that has caused her to missed nearly a weeks worth of school. She was born a bit premature. Her birthday was supposed to be on or around Sept. 15. She was born Aug. 23. She weighed in at 5.4, in today's terms a bit under weight. Delivery was a bit bothersome, it was going fine until her heart rate dropped so low that I had an emergency c-section. She did have to stay at the hospital almost a week after she was born. She had jaundice. She came out looking like a racoon...they put this little mask over her eyes so she could "bake" under the "tanning bed" for a week! After that it was smooth sailing. Until about she was 7 yrs old. She started to complain about tummy pains. Ok..now Im going to get into very descriptive details. She always said she felt constipated. However she went well, almost daily if not 2 times a day. They gave her miralax and told me to give her 2 tablespoons of mineral oil a day until it went through and soaked her panties. I did...but it didnt make a difference. She was still going well, 2 times a day at least, still had tummy problems and then just one day...no more problems. Fast forward to today, sometime in August she ended up getting a high fever, diarrhea, and severe headaches. NOTHING helped her with her headaches and her fever. She was throwing up so bad, it looked like her intestines might have come out! She was also shaking uncontrollably. The docs thought she might have appendicitis...so OFF to the hospital we go. Well all they did was take blood and give her a bag of IV and sent us on our merry way. She still had a fever when we left, she still had headaches. That lasted for about a week. So now...she is in bed with a headache. No fever, thank GOD, no vomiting, no diarrhea. There really is not triggers for her headache. She just gets them. She dosnt have them all day long, shes fine off and on. She will get severe pain, and I can tell because her face is solemn, she looks very sad. She then curls up like a baby puts her head under her pillow and 5-10 min. later shes up again and fine...and it will happen again later on 5-10-30- or hours later. There is no pattern to the head pains...there doesnt seem to be a trigger. However she lies down and it goes away FAST...then she says that when she gets back up a couple of min. later it starts to hurt again. The doc said she had abdominal migraines, but when I looked it up the word anorexia came up with this. She is not anorexic. So now we have a mystery illness, a little girl in pain and a mother worried and confused as to what to do next.

I think I am...am I?

As a parent...as I’m sure most of you are, sometimes we wonder if we are doing a good job raising our kids. Sometimes they give you green hair syndrome, as I call it, where you just want to tear out all your hair because it seems like your talking to a thick brick wall! Then every now and then, they give you glimmer's of hope, that something is, most definitely, without a doubt, getting in...they are listening.

This morning, for me, was one of those morning. Rebekah, who is at home because she is suffering from migraines, went with me to take her younger sisters some breakfast. Apparently, according to my husband, they didn't make it on time for the school's breakfast. Yeah, we were running late, what's new? So I go to Stripes, and pick up a box of Krispy Creams, 3 chocolate milks and take it to them. As we were coming back, we saw a really ugly, but cute in its own way, dog prancing down the street of our neighborhood. It looked like the dog from 'Lady and the Tramp' you know the female dog who starts to sing "he's a tramp but I love him". It even has a pink collar and everything. My daughter was admiring the dog, she's an animal lover through and through, and then she perks straight up lets out a gasp and says "MOM THAT'S THE DOG IN THOSE 'LOST DOG' FLYERS!!!" No it wasn't the dog, but she kept on "you know they are offering a reward for that missing dog mom." I just let out a mmmhmmm. Then she said..."You know, if I found the dog and they asked me if I wanted the reward, I would smile and I would hug the person. That's my reward. I just want to see that person happy with its dog again." She just said it so matter of fact, like she was this little tiny adult sitting next to me. I wondered, why aren't more adults like that. I then recounted the story of her paternal granny. She lost her phone, the people who found it called Martin, my husband. He said "GREAT...THANK YOU!!! Meet me at this place" the people on the other line asked if there was a reward. Martin said "Yes...you get the sense of being a good person and doing a good deed." The people never showed up. Rebekah looked shocked and asked why they did that and of course I answered, "I don’t know, greedy I guess?"

So in that little time frame of maybe 30 minutes...I realized that my daughter is growing up, and she's growing up well, with a good head on her shoulders, with good morals and sense of compassion and what is right and wrong. She is also growing up with the lesson that any reward for any good deed done is not monetary value...its the compassion and kindness your soul and heart feel when that mission is accomplished. So yes...I AM, so far, doing a good job...and I'm glad! I hope my girls, when they grow up, continue to value human value over money.

...and my search is finished

I found a group of artisans online...actually on cafemom. They are the Cafe Mom Etsy Team, and I have had the pleasure to create some great new wonderful friends. We spin new ideas off of each other, we support each other and we talk about different things. So for about a month there the girls were raving about one of owns popcorn. Her name is Micki she goes under keepingitsimplysweet on etsy. Now...Im not the sort of person who orders food online. I need to see personally with my own eyes what Im about to put in my mouth before I buy it. However, the girls were raving about her gourmet popcorn and how delicious it was. She also makes marshmallows...she even has sugar free marshmallows. Well, I got tempted and I ordered what I thought would be something I liked...the Campfire Smores Gourmet Popcorn.

Now she caramelizes the popcorn first. Then she crumbles graham crackers over it she then adds her name brand chocolate and mini marshmallows. Ok so I'm intrigued by this. I mean the description itself is tantalizing! So I order a gallon of this. That how she sells them by the gallon. So I wait..for 2 agonizing days...I wait. I'm thinking about my marshmallows...my chocolate...I love caramel popcorn...I love smores!!!!

So yesterday as I go pick up my girls the post woman shows up. Typical...when you are expecting something your not at home when they show up. I had also gone to HEB to pick up some food for bekah, she was sick. When we get home I see the SORRY WE MISSED YOU slip. OOOOHHH NOOOO I wasn't going to wait a WHOLE WEEKEND for my popcorn!!! So we tossed the groceries in the front door floor...I remember I had seen the postwoman about to leave our neighborhood. We all ran to my truck, and I sped away to chase down my package!!! I caught up to her and thankfully she needed to do ONE MORE delivery...who of course the person in that house wasn't home. I told her she had just left the note and I wanted my package...I said it graciously. So we get home but I can smell the popcorn from the box. I open up the box and there, inside is a LARGE bag of popcorn...full of chocolate...melted of course because of the heat of Laredo, but it was perfect!! I mean smores has melted chocolate. I see the marshmallows and the crumbs of cracker and OOOHHHHH I open it so slowly, like time was taking its ...uuuhh..time? hehe I grab cluster of chocolate, popcorn, and marshmallows...and I sink my teeth into it and OOOHHH JOY!!!! IM IN HEAVEN!!! Im not kidding everyone...this stuff is good!!! We are almost done with the entire gallon!!! OOOHHH and she threw in a free sample. Cinnamon Marshmallows. Personally I would never have thought about buying cinnamon marshmallow. Ok. so I taste it...and...ITS AWESOME!!!

So people...I'm not kidding when i say something is good...ITS GOOD!!! When I say something is awesome...ITS AWESOME...so go to etsy.com actually here the link to Miki's shop:

Fall leaves turning colors...holidays are upon us

Yesterday as we were going to take Erykah to practice, Jeyskah and Monikah, my two youngest, were under the tree waiting to get into the truck.  As they waited a leaf fell on top of Jesykahs head and she grabbed it and Monikah saids "LOOK MOM!!! The leaves are falling...that means its fall already!"  Little did she know that yes techniqly it was fall.  So Fall is already here, the leaves are loosing their green colors and turning yellow, red, brown and all those colors that we associate fall with.  It also means that the holidays are upon us as well.  It's amazing how fast the year goes.  It just seems to be going faster as my kids get older.  So R U READY!!??? It may surprise you that even though Halloween hasn't even reached us yet that I ALREADY created something for CHRISTMAS!  Yes, Yes, I did.  Why? Well because this is the times we all get our families together and start taking those Holiday Photos to send of to our friends and family.  So this item that I am about to show you allows you...well your girls or your daughter...to be what almost every little girl wants to be... A PRINCESS!!!  Well a sugar plum princess!

                         il_430xN_38102919

This is a tutu halter.  Its not a skirt..its actually a dress. There is a sheer ribbon to tie around the neck and it is simply beautiful. Its time people...to start getting all dress up and taking those photos.  This is perfect for your little princess.

What is big, brown and heavy?

MOVING BOXES!! Yes RDD and my family are moving to S.A. TX.  My husband got transferred to UTSA. He starts Oct...so we have what??? like less than 2 weeks? So we are in the search of housing.  I look at my house and I want to rip my hair out.  I just finished a tutu dress but I still want to make a halo headband some wings and a wand for this outfit.  So SA here we come.  My poor girls have now been taken out of their cheerleading squads, BUT they are still practicing, I don’t want them to be out to long without exercise and practice of their tumbling.  well...I might no blog for a while...I will try to get a photo of the tutu...it is a one of a kind I will NOT make another one like it and its perfect for photographers who specialize in children's photography .  Good investment.  Ok so then...those of you who were in Ikes way...I am praying for you.  take it easy and hope things get back to the way it was fast!

Smelling the Roses

Talk about forgetting to smell the roses. This past week and a half has been a blur. We started by FINISHING B2S (back to school) shopping, getting Rebekah ready for life in Middle school, meeting the 3 younger ones teachers at the elementary school, and trying to figure out how mom was going to pick up all of them at the same time in two different places!!! TIRED, IMAGINE HOW I FEEL!!! I'm a ball of nerves right now. So I'm trying to relax, it hasn't settled down at all, it seems to be getting momentum. Ironically, I MISS THE NOISE when the girls are gone?!? Maybe I'm having a mental breakdown. Well as I'm sitting here playing on my laptop, watching "If Walls Could talk" HGTV, I find myself wandering into this woman's blog, called Dooce. I have no idea how to pronounce it, but the letters put together in the order it has been looks very interesting. So take a look at it. I like it. No back to my relaxation, trying to unwind before I have to take Erykah to cheer practice. OH and I added some really cool new headbands on etsy. I will leave you with 2 pictures that I took before I took the girls to their first day of school. I hope the first one gives you a good chuckle!

Our little adventure at the beach, cause thats what it is and adventrue, is taking its twists and turns. We were all excited until we got to a Marquee sign saying " HURRICANE FORMING IN THE GULF! FUEL UP YOUR TANKS" Well you can only picture the look on Marty and I's face surprised and dissapointed. LOL...we had traveled nearly over 6 hours to be told by a HIGHWAY MARQUEE NO LESS that there was a "HURRICANE A COMIN'!" Well we weren't turning back now. I mean if it got bad we'd go inland to Houston or head to Austin maybe. Ok so we get here and we start to look for a hotel. Of course you can imagine the girls all excited. FORGET THE HOTEL, is what I pick up from them, WE CAN SLEEP ON THE BEACH! Well we find it. Today we get up early, a feat for me..., eat breakfast and then get dressed to go to the beach. It was all sun and glory...

I came down on us like in less than 30 minutes. Well we head back to the hotel and the girls went swimming in the pool ( it was an indoor pool). Later we started to drive around and we found a nice beach.. it was sort of private but it was nice. Oh and we found a little fella!

So far thats has been our little adventure. Tomorrow we head to Houston and go to the Galleria. I get to try on some ice skates for the FIRST TIME!!! Ill be taking loads of pictures!

OFF WE GO!

I haven't done this a while, and it shows. I'm a little rusty in packing our suit case for a weeks vacation. Today my husband trots into the house after mass, and 3 hours of MIA (a whole other blog post that I wont get into really) saying we are taking off for vacation this week! WHOA THERE BOY!!! I still have laundry I'm washing, what do you mean this week? So there ya have it, we are taking off possibly tomorrow morning. So the past 3-5 hours I have been sitting in my room with my laptop switching from finishing the laundry to checking online rates for hotels and what to do at our destination. We had first set out to drive a nearly two day trip to Florida...but decided against it...HURRICANE SEASON! Then we thought maybe the GRAND CANYON! That's ok...I've seen my fare share of pot holes...hey I live in TEXAS! So we decided to stay in Texas and go to the beach. Then nearby to Houston to go to the Zoo, the museums and around the areas there. Maybe we will swing by Round Rock visit Ikea and pick up a new sofa ;0) My DH, Marty still has a lot of "I'm sorry" to do for what he put me through today....again that's a WHOLE other blog that I'm not getting into.

Pink and Green

Through a good friend, Amelia, I have found a great way to challenge my photographic eye. Shades of Inspiration...there is a banner on the right side of the blog. Its a great way to take pics and edit them to my taste AND that fits with the challenge. So this one is on green and pink. I have this beautiful tree...dont know what its called, Im not a garden type of person, but its beautiful. Its got a hot pink bloom to it:

Well I have a new computer and I have not bought and downloaded my editing program. So this is as best as I can post it. I took some other ones. Enjoy and have a good week!

WAIT WAIT!!!! Playing catch up..

Man oh man...July started and now its in its second week! Just to catch you guys up on what my life has been. It all started with getting ready for our 4th of July fest! My husband and his brother own some carnival rides. So we set them up and guess well we did ok, despite the fact that the GOOD Lord was teasing us with wind and rain! Yeah GOD...hes a funny one! hahaha

Well here you have Monikah, Jesykah and Erykah riding down one of the jumping castles...not ours..that the city provided for free. They had a blast. I mean it was a water slide jumping castle, and all they could do was go up and one way down, but I mean they rode that thing for hours and hours on end. It was a great baby sitter really! LOL

Rebekah here just splashed her way down and look at her she is soaking wet. It was pretty good, the fest that is. There was a dog costume contest and there were some really adorable doggies there. All decked out in their patriotic costumes...but I couldnt take many pics because I was busy manning the booth taking money from parents. OK...that didnt come out right..LOL...but tech. I was taking money from parents...so their kids could get on our rides. Down side to it...I worked on my birthday. NO...IM NOT A 4TH OF JULY BABY! Nearly was, but I missed it by 2 hours. IM a July 5th BABY and a bi-centennial baby at that! So I always know how long ago the Dec. of Indep. was signed...my age PLUS 200 years!!! hahahaha Now if you are asking...I turned 32. No Im not shy at telling my age, I think its an honor that I have made it so far to 32....age is just a number, its how you feel inside. Besides...women are like wine. The more we age, the finer we are! LOL however, to compensate for my working on my birthday, my husband and my parents and my kids along with a dear friend of mine....OOOHH AND MY BROTHER and his girl friend...all took me to my fav rest of all time...THE OLIVE GARDEN! I love that place. Here we are in no particular order at the restaurant.

So here we are from left to right...My parents, Marty and I, Milly and Steve and Roger and Mariecruz

Well I have more photos...but that will be another post...and if I can get them downloaded...my puter is acting up...actually I think its my camera conflicting with my puter. Ok till next time!!! BYE!

So here I am

This is where I will now be posting my blog stuff. Things are getting so ridiculous gas and electricity wise! I nearly had a stroke and heart attack when I saw our electric bill...it jumped from 12.3 cents per KWH to nearly 20 cents per KWH in about 3 months. So this month we got a bill of over 600.00 for a small 1500 sqf home! OOOHHH IM FUMMING THATS FOR SURE!!! Whatever...head up high and only look forward. I just hope things get better. So this is now my new home! So please change it if you have me on your links list on your blog. I will soon change it on my website. Well...till next time...
